WADEBRIDGE’S English Rose Wedding Stationery is celebrating after being crowned Cornwall’s Wedding Stationer of the Year.
At a ceremony in Truro, the awards were announced in front of more than 100 guests from Cornwall’s leading bridal businesses.
Organised and hosted by Cornish Brides magazine, the awards are designed to recognise and reward talent, quality and dedication from businesses and individuals who have proven to make an exceptional contribution to the Cornish bridal industry.
The Wadebridge company beat stiff competition from fellow finalists to win the award.
Sarah Buckmaster, who runs the business
, was delighted with her success.
She said: “This is the second year running we have won the Wedding Stationer of the Year award and couldn’t quite believe it when our name was read out as the winner.
“We are extremely honoured to win this prestigious award again and would like to thank all of the brides and customers who voted for us.”
More than 200 businesses from across Cornwall and West Devon initially entered the Cornish Brides Awards before 48 entrants were selected as finalists across 13 varied categories such as Designer of the Year, Venue of the Year, Photographer of the Year and, of course, Stationer of the Year.
The judges took into consideration comments and feedback from brides and customers, the number of votes amassed during the open voting periods, websites and social media platforms and feedback obtained from mystery client visits and calls.
